We felt it important to let you know that your health and safety are top of mind amid concerns about the spread of the coronavirus. Every shift, every day, we remain diligent in our food safety and sanitation practices in order to provide a safe and healthy environment for our guest and staff.
Although we pride ourselves on maintaining a clean and well-run pub as a matter of course, in light of COVID-19 virus we are also vigilantly following safety protocol and best practice recommendations from the World Health Organization (WHO), Center for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), and other appropriate agencies. To that end, we continue to provide the following health and safety procedures at our pub:
- We are sanitizing all surfaces that people touch with increased frequency (including menus, tables, counter tops and surfaces in the bathroom, door handles and terminals) using EPA-approved disinfectant products that have qualified for use against coronavirus.
- Hand Washing. We are strictly enforcing our hand washing policy – with continued emphasis and ongoing training – that includes requiring employees to wash their hands often (for at least 20 seconds) with soap and water. We also require employees to wash their hands every time after using the restroom, and before eating, preparing or handling food, etc. We ensure all soap dispensers have hand soap at all times.
- Our employees will continue to wear plastic gloves when prepping food and continue following health department requirements regarding how often to change gloves or more frequently if needed.
- Employees exhibiting any signs of illness will be prohibited from working.
We will continue to closely monitor information from public health officials and will continue to follow their prevention guidelines to help keep our pub clean and our community safe.
Health and safety of our guests and our employees remains our highest priority.
